This online, private pay program is built for what comes next.
You did everything right.
You showed up to every session after your stroke.
You did the homework.
You pushed through rehab when it was the hardest work of your life.
Then insurance ran out, and someone told you that "you'd met your goals."
Yet you still don't feel like yourself.
You're not back to living.
"This summer, I went on a family vacation with ten people in the same house. I joined in conversations, voiced my opinions, and truly connected with my family in a way I hadn't been able to in years.
I felt like myself again. Genevieve didn't just help me recover my communication, she helped me recover my confidence, my identity, and my place in my family."
Client
"Genevieve saw him for who he truly is: a strong, intelligent, proud man who just needed the right guidance.
Today, he's speaking so well, and he's even planning to give the welcoming words at our son's wedding rehearsal dinner.
He has purpose again, whether he's working on projects at the cottage or connecting with others socially. Genevieve didn't just help him recover his speech, she helped us recover our hope."

Take the Aphasia Strengths Compass
You start with the Aphasia Strengths Compass. You rate nine areas of communication from 1 to 5—on your own or with your care partner. In about 15 minutes, you'll see your strengths and get a PDF report to keep, giving you both something concrete to talk about.
Book Your Free Compass Results Call
Next, you book your Compass Results Call. Together, we review your Compass results and decide on next steps with zero commitment.
Create Your Customized Plan
If the Rebuilder Experience feels like the right fit, we complete your evaluation and build your custom plan. Because we take on a small number of new clients each month, the evaluation ensures we can give your care our full focus.
Private Pay Starts Here
Working directly with us means no insurance middleman. As we work together, you can keep rebuilding for as long as you need to, because no insurance tells you you're done. Feel free to attend all steps with your care partner.

The Rebuilder Experience is a roadmap.
Rebuilding has three phases: rebuilding your foundation at home, reconnecting with the world around you, and living.
Because your journey is completely individualized, we focus on the phases you need most, at the pace that works best for your life.
If you won't accept that this is "as good as it gets", you're a REBUILDER.
Unlike traditional rehab, where you were told what to do and how, rebuilding is active. You set the goals, you put in the work, and we support you every step of the way.

Integrated Therapy: Professional speech and language therapy built directly into every session.
Real-Life Focus: Practice communication that matters most to you: work, family, community.
Team Effort: Care partners are always encouraged to join or review the session summary for key points and practice, because rebuilding is a team effort.
Custom Home Success Plan: Practical exercises built directly around your daily routine at home.
Direct Access: Ongoing communication between calls for questions, accountability, and guidance so you're never stuck.
Compass Progress Tracking: Regular check-ins using the Aphasia Strengths Compass to measure real-world growth in communication and quality of life.
Short 10-to-15-minute video modules for you and your care partner, available 24/7 to fill gaps in the knowledge, mindset, and strategies you need to rebuild your life. Some examples include:
• Understanding Aphasia, Cognition, Motivation
• The CARE Filter
• Social Re-Entry Architecture
• Spoken Self-Advocacy Scripts
• Care Partner Relational Tools
• Real-Life Carryover
The program works when you put in the time and effort.
You practice every day because practice carries over into your life. You try, refine, get support, and repeat.
One flat monthly fee covers your sessions, the Rebuilder Insights Course, and support for your care partner, who has a different relationship with aphasia than you do and needs support built for their specific needs.
What to Expect
Most people are with us for nine months or more because, in addition to going through the three phases, we'll also work directly on communication and connection skills. We go over the monthly fee on your Compass Results Call before you commit to anything.
Building beyond aphasia takes time, effort, and money so you get the results you want and don't feel left behind or like another checkbox. This isn't about budget; it's about you getting back to the life you want.
Aphasia is not your whole identity.
Rehab got you through the hardest part, and it did what it was built to do. This starts where it stopped. We build everything around your life: your work, your family, your place in it. Not a score in a clinic.
No, recovery doesn't have an expiration date, but the world around you may have made it feel that way.
Your brain is reorganizing. The early fogginess may have settled, and your thinking may feel clearer. You have more awareness, more insight, a clearer picture of what's actually hard and what's actually possible now, in a way you couldn't have had right after your stroke.
That's where the Rebuilder Experience looks at you as a whole person. What do you want to achieve? Who are you now? How do you want to show up in the world? How do you want to spend your days? Are you looking to get back to work? Are you looking to enjoy retirement and travel with your wife, or something else?
The Rebuilder Experience works with you to achieve the goals that give you purpose, meaning, and joy. The plan is built specifically around the life you're trying to get back to.
Two years isn't too late. It's just where you are right now. Let's build from there.
Most people need at least nine months. Some need a year or more. You're rebuilding your confidence and your communication in real situations, and that takes practice and time. We check in at every phase so you always know where you are.
Yes. Everything happens via video, from your own home. Your care partner can join every session, and family members who live in other cities can join too.
The Rebuilder Experience is private pay, and we chose that on purpose. It's built for people who want to get back to work, back to the people they love, and back to the things they want to spend their time on.
Speech therapy is one part. You also work on identity, purpose, and mindset, and your care partner gets their own time in the program too.
We don't work with any insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid. If you need a clinician who does, ASHA ProFind at asha.org/profind is a good place to start.
Private pay starts with your Evaluation, after your Connection Call, and then you pay month to month. If that's not where you are right now, the Life Beyond Aphasia YouTube channel is a good place to start.
No. Aphasia changes things for the people close to you, too.
Your care partner is part of the work from day one, and a separate program supports them when they want additional support: the Care Partner Collective.
Whole person, whole family.
